Lost Ark launched in Korea in 2018 and reached the West through Amazon Games in 2022 to one of the largest concurrent player counts Steam had recorded for an MMO launch. The PvE raid content is the headline draw, but the 3v3 arena ladder and the GvG content layer have produced a smaller but seriously committed competitive scene with an active esports circuit, particularly in Korea and parts of Europe.
