Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of PVPWire (the “Service”), a competitive-gaming data platform operated by Pizza Robot Studios LLC, doing business as PVPWire (“PVPWire,” “we,” “us”). By accessing the website, the API, or any premium endpoint, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or as an automated agent, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms.

1. The Service

PVPWire publishes independently compiled competitive-gaming data: game-mechanics facts served through a free JSON API, and a paid premium tier of derived intelligence. Free endpoints require no account and no authentication. Premium endpoints require payment as described below.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and at least 18 years old to purchase premium credits, and you must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law. By purchasing credits you represent that you meet these requirements. If an automated agent transacts on your behalf, you are the party bound by these Terms and responsible for its conduct.

3. License to use the data

Free API data is offered for use with attribution to pvpwire.com. Premium responses are licensed to you for inference use only. You may not use premium responses, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or distill machine-learning models, and you may not resell, redistribute, or proxy the premium API in a way that materially reproduces its surface for third parties. You may not resell or share premium bearer tokens.

Our rights. The individual facts PVPWire serves, a stat value, an item requirement, a market price, are not owned by anyone, including us. What PVPWire owns is the compilation: the selection, verification, structure, and arrangement of those facts into our datasets, together with the analysis, scoring, and verdicts we derive from them, and the Captured Corpus defined below. The licenses granted above are to that compilation and those derived works. Nothing in these Terms asserts ownership of the underlying facts, or of any game publisher’s intellectual property.

The Captured Corpus. PVPWire records dated observations of live conditions over time, including game economy snapshots and concurrent viewer and player counts. That historical record is created by us through our own ongoing measurement rather than obtained from any source, it cannot be reconstructed after the fact, and it is ours. It may not be extracted, bulk-downloaded, mirrored, or used to assemble a competing historical dataset, whether by manual means or automated collection.

4. Payments and credits

Premium access is settled in USD Coin (USDC) on either Base mainnet or Solana mainnet. Send USDC to the wallet published for the chain you are paying on, and pay only to an address listed at /api/payment/info. Sending any other asset, or USDC on a chain we do not list, cannot be verified or credited and cannot be recovered. Pricing is published at /api/payment/info and in the x402 manifest, currently 1 credit per $0.01, 100 credits per US dollar. A call costs 2 credits ($0.02) for a corpus lookup up to 25 credits ($0.25) for cross-game synthesis; the exact cost of each endpoint is published in the manifest. Credits do not expire. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. We recommend buying a small amount first, calibrating, and topping up as needed. You are responsible for verifying the pay-to wallet address across our published locations before sending funds; on-chain transfers are irreversible.

We do not charge for our own failures. A server error, a tripped circuit breaker, a schema-validation failure, or data served past its stated freshness promise is provided at no charge, and the no-charge record is published at /api/payment/no-charge-stats.

5. Acceptable use

Do not abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent the rate limits or access controls of the Service. Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose. Automated clients must respect the documented rate limits and the machine-readable policies at /llms.txt. We may suspend or revoke access, including invalidating a token, for conduct that threatens the integrity or availability of the Service or that violates these Terms. A token revoked for a violation of these Terms forfeits its remaining credit balance. Revocation for a violation is not a refund event.

6. Sanctions

Premium access is unavailable to persons or entities subject to OFAC, EU, UK, or UN sanctions, and to residents of comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. Inbound credit-purchase transactions are screened against the Chainalysis public sanctions API. A transaction from a screened or sanctioned address will be rejected and no credits will be granted.

7. No affiliation; trademarks

PVPWire is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher or developer. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Data is independently compiled from multiple sources and cross-verified; it is provided as reference, not as an official source.

We serve facts and our own expression of them, never a publisher’s creative content: no lore, flavor text, artwork, icons, audio, or verbatim in-game prose appears in our data. If a rights holder believes material of theirs has been included, contact us and we will review and remove it promptly.

Notice procedure for rights holders. Send notices to [email protected] and include: the specific material at issue (the endpoint URL and the record or field), the basis of your claim and the work you believe is implicated, and your name, organization, and contact information. We review every complete notice, respond within ten business days, remove material whose inclusion is substantiated, and retain a record of the notice and its resolution. Incomplete notices will receive a request for the missing information rather than a refusal.

DMCA designated agent. For copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512), the designated agent for Pizza Robot Studios LLC (doing business as PVPWire) is the Legal Department, Pizza Robot Studios LLC, reachable at [email protected]. The agent is registered with the United States Copyright Office (registration number DMCA-1076115). A valid notice must include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3): identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We maintain a counter-notification process for material removed in error.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Game data is best-effort and may contain errors or become outdated as games patch. You use the data at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PVPWire will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for premium access in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PVPWire and its operators, members, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your submissions, or your violation of any law or of any third party’s rights.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is Los Angeles County, California.
