Stick Fight: The Game
Physics-based stickman combat with absurd weapon spawns and breakable maps. Built for couch and online quick-play, not for ladder. Has a persistent audience years after launch because it does its one thing perfectly.

Stick Fight: The Game launched in 2017 from Landfall as a physics-based 2-to-4-player combat game. The format is straightforward: stickmen on a procedurally selected map (rotating through dozens of stages), absurd weapon spawns (snake guns, lasers, swords, grenade launchers), breakable terrain, and last-stickman-standing rounds.
No ladder, no ranked, no esports. The game is built for couch play, online quick-play with friends, and short sessions. Its persistent audience years after launch is the editorial point: a small, focused PvP design with no monetization layer can hold an audience indefinitely if the core loop is good.
Catalog entry preserved as the counter-example to "competitive PvP requires structured esports infrastructure." Sometimes it requires four people who know each other and 30 minutes.
